ZAK WAS BORN AND RAISED IN THE NORTH. WINONA, MINNESOTA IS HOME.
After a fulfilling little league career Zak graduated to become a lifelong baseball fan. Growing up in small-town Minnesota idolizing the likes of Kirby Puckett, Kent Hrbek and Jack Morris baseball was life. Yes, the '91 World Series is the greatest of all-time (also - yes, Ron Gant was out...)
To Zak, ballparks hold a magic that no other place can emulate. The smell and feel of sun-kissed grass and dirt has no equal. The community of players and fans, of families and life-long diehard fans sharing a ballgame together is beautiful.
IN THE SPRING OF 2005 ZAK GRADUATED FROM MANKATO STATE UNIVERSITY WITH A FINE ARTS DEGREE IN PAINTING. NATURALLY, HE SKIPPED HIS LAST FINAL TO CATCH AND EARLY SPRING TWINS GAME AT THE HUBERT H. HUMPHREY METRODOME.
