



This print comes off of a Bristlecone Pine burned in a high country Colorado forest fire in the 1880s. Bristlecone pine trees are among the oldest, toughest plants on earth. They grow in high Rocky Mountain climate, above 8,000 feet, and can live from hundreds to thousands of years old. Beautiful character of bark, caramel and honey color, fine grain.
A limited run of 100 hand-pulled woodcut relief prints directly from a section of a Bristlecone Pine tree. These prints are hand-pulled rubbings and will have slight variations. Each will be signed on the front and numbered, signed and dated on the back.
