What is the "Cabin Special"? While we don't make the axes and hatchets in this collection we do put the HVRNT spin on them - we call this the "Cabin Special" touch. Each piece is hand-finished in our studio. Thoughtful details give each one that unique character you’d expect to find up at Grandma's cabin.
Note about the cutting edge: Each Snow & Nealley axe and hatchet comes un-sharpened. This is a throwback to all the old axe makers. Traditionally axes came un-sharpened, leaving the edge sharpening to the customer - to sharpen to their desired edge.
